Dr. Rohini Mohan ()is a reputed sugama sangeetha singer from Karnataka who is known for her bhava filled renditions.〔(Article in The Hindu ) The Hindu - English Daily official website. Also well known for her lectures and writings on various aspects of Sugama sangeetha. ==Early life== Born on October 15, 1961 to M.S. Nagaraj (Retired Magistrate) and Anasuya Nagara in Mysore. Rohini used to sing at a very tender age and participated in 'makkala karyakrama' (children's programme) in All India Radio at the age of Six. Very successful in interschool and inter-college competition and won best outgoing student award most of the years. Had Karnataka classical training under Smt.
